Longshan
The Longshan culture, which thrived between 3000 BCE and 2000 BCE in northern China, is known for its sophisticated black pottery and early bronze work. The Longshan people lived in fortified settlements, and their society was marked by significant advancements in social organization and technology. Longshan’s influence extended to later Chinese dynasties, as their i ovations in pottery, urban pla ing, and social hierarchy laid the foundation for future development. This culture is also known for its ritual practices, including the construction of large, rammed-earth walls.
