The Renaissance was a time of great artistic and intellectual achievements in China, alongside the restoration of the Great Wall and the Forbidden City.Chinese mythology during the Ming period included dragons, symbols of power and protection, as well as the Qilin, a mythical creature representing prosperity and peace. These creatures featured prominently in Chinese art and religious practices.
