The Sikh Empire, founded by Maharaja Ranjit Singh in 1801, marked a significant period in northern India’s history. Sikh culture, deeply rooted in the teachings of the Gurus, emphasized justice, community, and the Khanda, or double-edged sword, symbolizing divine knowledge.Despite its eventual fall to British colonialism, the Sikh Empire left a lasting mark on India.
